In June 2026, as part of the Veterans Can… Lock-In event at the Tower of London, we were able to present a cheque for £5000 to Dave Bathgate, CEO of Military Vs Cancer.
Dave received the most votes in the Business Boost category, and his submission included details of how he’d use the Veterans Can… Deliver grant to improve the onboarding and information sharing with members of the military community who engage with Military Vs Cancer.
Sadly, Dave and his Military Vs Cancer team have seen exponential increase in the numbers of people with cancer, or their loved ones, getting in touch and their old system was not effective enough – so we are thrilled the Veterans Can… Deliver enablement grant will have an impact where it’s needed.
