In April 2026, with our Australian Partners “OpOz” we were able to invite members to live pitch their ideas for a $10000 VC… Deliver enablement grant to a panel of judges as well as a live audience in Brisbane and a virtual audience from around the world!
The panel included Steve Baxter, an Australian Army Veteran, investor, entrepreneur and a “sharks” on Australian television’s “Shark Tank” gave the 5 pitchers some candid and supportive advice before members in the room and who’d joined on-line voted on who they thought should receive the grants that were available on the evening.
The recipient of the inaugural Australian Veterans Can… deliver enablement grant was Andy Cullen the Co-Founder of PTSD Resurrected, a Brisbane based non-for-profit restoring hope, healing and purpose to individuals and their families struggling as a result of trauma. Specifically Andy’s pointed and passionate pitch referred to the development winning the grant would lead to and how they’d expand delivery to those outside the Veteran community.
Congratulations, Andy and as always the Veterans Can… team would like to thank everyone who took part in this inspiring global round of the Veterans Can… Deliver enablement grant!
