CELEBRATION

Veterans can… celebrate

Invite-only BBQ, Bants and Beer

Earned it – Enjoy it.

This aspect of Veterans Can… at Pippingford is only for pre-booked stall holders, Veteran Games participants, Veterans Can… members and their families.

Relax, Recover and Reconnect after a big day working with us to make it all happen.

We ask all stall holders to wrap up at 1730 and at 1800 the Festival will close to members of the public, before the invite only Veterans Can… Celebrate event commences at 1900 – after a quick clean up.

The Soall Smoke and Flame team will have a Gurkha curry on the go, that will be available from 1900. The Powder Monkey Brewery, Ad Astra Cider and Combat2Coffee teams (and more) will remain in place and we hope this will offer everone the chance to chill after a busy day

This is our thank you to everyone who’s been involved in the day, or the last 2 years!

Camping is available and we hope this will prove to be a relaxed and worthwhile evening.

Live Entertainment & Inspiring Conversations

Veterans Can… Celebrate is more than just an evening event. It’s a chance to unwind, reconnect, be inspired and enjoy great company with people who understand.

Throughout the evening, enjoy a mix of live music, comedy and thought-provoking conversations from members of the Veteran community.

Live MUSIC with NICK WOODS

We’re excited to welcome Nick Woods to Veterans Can… Celebrate.

Nick is a singer, songwriter and guitarist, bringing live acoustic music to the evening at Pippingford. Expect feel-good tunes, relaxed festival vibes and the perfect soundtrack to round off the day.

Live Comedy with Rich BuNn

We’re pleased to welcome Rich Bunn to Veterans Can… Celebrate.

Rich is an Army Veteran, stand-up comedian, writer and voice actor bringing his sharp observational humour and military-flavoured comedy to Pippingford.

Expect laughs, familiar characters and the kind of banter that fits perfectly after a full day of graft, games and good company.

Inspiring conversations

Real stories. Honest conversations. Shared experience.

Join us for an engaging live conversation and Q&A featuring Ash Alexander-Cooper, author of Mindful Soldier, Liz McConaghy author of Chinook Crew ‘Chick’ and Ted Shirley, author and speaker.

Together, they’ll share experiences, perspectives and stories around service, resilience, mindset, purpose and life beyond the uniform, with the opportunity for the audience to join the conversation and ask questions.

More guest speakers to be announced.

Onsite camping is available for a small fee to cover our costs and there are also several local hotel accommodation options available.

Ready for Good Times?

Invite-only. Take off the muddy boots, share stories and celebrate with those who earned it.
