About the Event
An evening for the Veterans Can… club to connect, share stories, and celebrate life as a Veteran. It also served as the official launch of “Veterans Can… Impact”, our reflection on the achievements and progress from Year One of our CIC’s journey, and all attendees were given a hard copy of our report.
In addition to this, the event marked the opening of the next round of the Veterans Can… Deliver enablement grant where members were encouraged to write and put forward submissions for a £10,000 grant for a veteran-owned enterprise.
It was lovely to see so many new and familiar faces and as Sally Orange, a founder member of the VC… community, said;
Being part of something like this reminds me just how strong, resourceful, and compassionate our veteran family is, and how much veterans truly can achieve when we lift each other up.
It was lovely to reconnect with familiar faces and meet new ones who are equally passionate about making a difference as well as those I ‘know’ from LinkedIn but have never met in person.”
