Veterans Can… Shoot with Steve Thompson MBE

About the Event
We are honoured to have been named as the beneficiaries of England rugby legend and RWC winner Steve Thompson MBE’s shooting day at Bisley on the 12th June. Steve is hugely generous and runs these days annually, so we are really pleased this year he’s chosen to do so for Veterans Can… So, in his own words;
“I am thrilled to invite you to an exciting event that not only promises a day of enjoyment but also supports a fantastic cause, as this year I’m organizing a fundraising event in collaboration with Veterans Can… and believe it would be an experience you, and perhaps some friends, would truly enjoy.”
The day kicks off at 13:30 with a warm welcome at Bisley Shooting Ground, followed by an introduction from the lead instructor.
Groups of 5 accompanied by qualified instructors, will embark on the renowned Cottesloe Heath course, suitable for all skill levels. The shooting session concludes with a scored team flush, offering participants a chance at glory, a small trophy, and, of course, bragging rights.
Returning to the Victorian clubhouse at 17:00, participants can enjoy drinks at the bar before indulging in a sumptuous three-course meal in the newly refurbished Bisley Pavilion. The evening continues with enlightening presentations by Veterans who are now “experts” in Whisky and Cigars, finishing up with a prize-giving and a toast, before the conclusion at 23:00. The day is not only about fun but also about contributing to the Veterans Can… CIC, a cause I’m sure you’ll appreciate.
The price per person is £330, covering gun hire, tuition, clays, cartridges, and the three-course meal with drinks.

For those wishing to make it a complete experience, Bisley has kindly offered overnight gun storage for attendees staying at local hotels. Accommodation is available at the new Pavilion Hotel, where the dinner will be held.
